There Are Many Ways to Get Involved our Community

Interested in becoming a Member?
If you are enjoying Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Wyoming Valley services, and have interest in becoming a member, please fill out a New Member Information form.  Our current Membership Chair, Melanie, will reach out to help with any questions you may have or information you need.

Interested in becoming more involved?
You can get involved with our Community by:
  • Attending our Sunday worship services at 10:30 Am at the church or online via Zoom.
  • Attending one of our many events held throughout the year.
  • Volunteer to lead or help at one of our events.
  • Join one of our active Committees that align with your interests.
  • Donate food to our food pantry to help those who struggle with food insecurity.
  • Help to grow and share in the harvest in our Community Garden.
  • Participate in one of our Monthly Book Clubs.
  • Flowing River Sangha meets on Tuesdays at the church from 4:45 p.m. to 5:45 p.m. for meditation
    practice. All are welcome.
  • Recovery Dharma is a non-theistic, peer-led movement, and community that is unified by our trust in the
potential of each of us to recover and find freedom from the suffering of addiction.

Community Food Pantry
We now have a Community Food Pantry serving the members of our UU congregation. Food is a basic human right, and there is no judgment or stigma towards anyone who needs our Food Pantry. The pantry is located on the lower level of the church and contains non-perishable food items for anyone in need. We will need to replenish the supplies in this pantry on a regular basis, so we welcome all donations of canned vegetables and beans, canned fruit and applesauce, soup, tuna and chicken, peanut butter and jelly, pasta and sauce, and cereal.
We also have Aldi and Walmart gift cards available for those in need.
We appreciate and thank you for any support of food or funds you can give!

For more information, contact Administrator, Monica Salis, at [email protected]. Thank you!
