Instead of embedding the video, I am using a link to the video that is publicly available on YouTube (the last time I tried it): “We Don’t Hate You, But Your Leaders...” During US-Israeli war on Iran, a group of young Iranian artists have been producing LEGO animation videos in the hope that they can bypass US government/corporate propaganda and speak directly to the public. Their collection of videos has ridiculed our leaders. They’ve expressed moral outrage at civilian deaths and injuries and destruction of infrastructure by our military. During the recent relative calm where both sides are in a standoff blocking the Strait of Hormuz, they released a video having a different tone. It makes the case that the people of both countries want peace. They claim that the war exists because the US and Israeli government want war. The video resonated with me.
